About Me

I am an integrative counsellor, offering sessions via Zoom, Facetime and telephone, and I work with both individuals and couples. I have previously  worked in various organisations including the NHS, the YMCA, and now work within my own private practice.

I have experience with a wide range of issues and work with people from many different backgrounds, life experiences and  cultures. I have both personal and professional experience of working with people with autism, pathological demand avoidance,  and learning difficulties.

As well as working as a counsellor, I have experience in business roles within private organisations, schools and media companies. I understand the pressures and stresses of juggling a busy work and family life, and the challenges of long-term caring responsibilities. I re-trained as a counsellor after my personal experiences of attending counselling proved transformative within my own life.

My Approach

I am passionate about providing a safe, non-judgemental, empathic space to help find some answers to life’s difficulties and to enable people to feel empowered within their own lives.

Our work together will be led by what you are hoping for from counselling and whatever you would like to talk about and explore in your sessions.

I believe in and utilise the power and strength of mindfulness, and compassion towards self and others, within my work.
